Reading and searching the site
You can read the articles without creating an account. This version of the site has no registration, payment or newsletter form. Article search filters the content already loaded in your browser; the search feature does not send your search text to our server or save it in browser storage.
The website does not use advertising pixels or an account-based tracking system. Page fonts, article-search assets and planner code are served with the website rather than requested from an external font or AI provider.
Using the planning tools
The software assessment, cost planner and handoff planner calculate results in your browser. Their code does not submit your answers, quote details or role descriptions to our server or an external AI service. Inputs are held in page memory; reloading or leaving a page can discard them. We do not automatically save tool drafts in persistent browser storage.
If you choose to carry an assessment into another planner, the site temporarily uses this tab's session storage for product identifiers, a team-size range, the budget you entered and a workflow identifier. The destination planner reads and removes that transfer. Transfers older than ten minutes are not applied. The Clear this tool control also removes any pending transfer. Browser storage restrictions can prevent this convenience feature without preventing use of the tools.
Download answers creates a JSON file on your device. Restore answers reads the file locally to populate the matching planner; it does not upload it. Download report, Copy report and Print / save PDF put the result into a file, your clipboard or your browser's print process at your request. You control where those outputs are saved or shared. Keep downloaded files secure and remove them yourself when no longer needed.
Use role names and generic workload or quote information. The planners do not need customer names, contact lists, conversation transcripts, credentials or account numbers. We do not have a server-side copy of a planner draft to retrieve or delete for you.
Website delivery and security
Our hosting infrastructure and Cloudflare process technical request information to deliver and protect the site. This can include an IP address, requested address, time, browser information and connection or error details. Cloudflare may use security-related cookies or browser checks as part of delivering its service; this is separate from the site's article-search code. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for information about its processing.
Cloudflare also adds a Web Analytics performance script to delivered pages. This script is intended to measure page loading and performance; whether it runs depends on browser controls and the site's security policy. See Cloudflare's description of Web Analytics data collection. Infrastructure request processing still occurs when a browser blocks a performance script.
Routine access logging is disabled in this site's origin-server configuration. Error logs may still contain request details when a problem occurs. The site's origin error logs are configured for daily rotation with seven rotated logs retained. Infrastructure providers operate their own systems and retention practices; this origin setting does not determine Cloudflare's retention.
Email you choose to send
When you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information or attachments you include. We use that correspondence to address your inquiry, review a correction or manage the matter you raised. Delivery and storage also involve the email services used by you and by the site's contact mailbox.
Please send only what is necessary. Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment information or private customer exports as part of an editorial question. Correspondence may be retained while needed to handle the matter and maintain a relevant record; you can contact us to request review or deletion of your message.
Links and your choices
Links to software providers take you to websites with their own privacy practices. A source link is not a guarantee about the destination's handling of information. Commercial links, when used, are described in the affiliate disclosure.
You can use your browser's privacy controls and contact us about information you have supplied. Describe the request without including unnecessary sensitive details. We may need enough information to identify the relevant correspondence before acting on it.
If the site's features or data practices change, this notice will be updated with the applicable date. The current notice describes this website and its planning tools; it does not describe the data practices of products reviewed here.
